Speaking at the BESA / UKTI ˜Building International Business” International Export seminar in London today, Linguaphone Group – the global UK-based language training provider, announced new partnerships for the Gulf States of Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
The prestigious Al Rawas Group, one of the largest corporations in Oman, has secured the exclusive rights to develop the Linguaphone Group’s Direct English language program for adults across Oman.
Bloom, a property management company in operation since 1999 will act as the official Pingu’s English Master Licensee for the United Arab Emirates. They will deliver Pingu’s English through partnerships with businesses across the Emirates, and open their first Pingu’s English School in Abu Dhabi this autumn.
Children in Kuwait will also soon be able to learn English with Pingu, due to a new partnership with the prominent Alfadalah Almuaili Almaraghi Group. With business interests in property management, mining and engineering across Kuwait and Jordan, the Group’s initial focus will be to launch their pilot Pingu’s English School in Kuwait, before providing the Pingu’s English program to all nurseries and kindergartens across the country.

Pingu’s English is a pre-school English language program for 3-8+ years, which is currently available in fifteen countries worldwide. It is based on the true-to-life, everyday adventures of the popular HIT Entertainment character Pingu, and helps young children learn English using a variety of creative activities and exercises using high quality, multimedia materials and teaching resources.
Direct English was created in 1997 and based on a unique learning system developed by the internationally renowned education authority on English language, Louis Alexander. The nine-level program combines highly interactive resources, with a program of personalised tutorials and conversation classes and delivers world-class English language training for all abilities.
