New Master Licensees for the Linguaphone Group's English language training programs announced across the Gulf

Speaking at the BESA / UKTI ‘Building International Business’ International Export seminar in London today, Linguaphone Group - the global UK-based language training provider, announced new partnerships for the Gulf States of Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.

The prestigious Al Rawas Group, one of the largest corporations in Oman, has secured the exclusive rights to develop the Linguaphone Group’s Direct English language program for adults across Oman.

Bloom, a property management company in operation since 1999 will act as the official Pingu’s English Master Licensee for the United Arab Emirates.   They will deliver Pingu’s English through partnerships with businesses across the Emirates, and open their first Pingu’s English School in Abu Dhabi this autumn.

Children in Kuwait will also soon be able to learn English with Pingu, due to a new partnership with the prominent Alfadalah Almuaili Almaraghi Group. With business interests in property management, mining and engineering across Kuwait and Jordan, the Group's initial focus will be to launch their pilot Pingu's English School in Kuwait, before providing the Pingu’s English program to all nurseries and kindergartens across the country.

Commenting on these new partnerships, Derek Price, Chief Executive Officer with the Linguaphone Group said:-

“Direct English and Pingu’s English offer unique opportunities for those entrepreneurs joining our Master Licensee program to capitalise on the lucrative English language training market.  Building on our existing presence across the Gulf is a key part of the Linguaphone Group’s export expansion strategy for the Middle East and we are delighted to welcome these new partners to the Linguaphone Group.”

Pingu's English is a pre-school English language program for 3-8+ years, which is currently available in fifteen countries worldwide.
